About Rayzi Women’s Center

Rayzi Women’s Center was created to provide thoughtful, specialized psychiatric care for women navigating emotional, hormonal, and life stage transitions. Our practice is dedicated to supporting adult women, with a strong focus on reproductive, perinatal, and postpartum mental health. We offer in person services in Houston, Texas, along with telepsychiatry across Texas and New Mexico, making care more accessible during busy and demanding seasons of life.

Our practice is led by Rasheedat Adewumi, DNP, MSN, PMHNP-BC, RNC-OB, CNE, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with advanced clinical training in women’s mental health. Rasheedat specializes in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrated therapeutic care. Her work centers on careful assessment, clear treatment planning, and collaborative decision making, so clients understand their symptoms and feel confident in their care.

We primarily work with adult women who are pregnant, postpartum, or planning for motherhood, as well as those navigating significant life transitions. Many of the women we support are high functioning professionals or students who feel emotionally overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted beneath the surface. They often seek clarity around whether what they are experiencing is expected or something that requires professional support, and they value a provider who understands both the medical and emotional aspects of their experience.

At Rayzi Women’s Center, care is structured, calm, and supportive. Treatment plans are tailored to each client and may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive therapy, or a combination of approaches. We prioritize safety, especially during pregnancy and postpartum, and take time to discuss options, risks, and benefits in a thoughtful and respectful way. Our goal is to help women feel grounded, informed, and supported as they move forward with confidence.
